I use the smartboard all the time in Computer Studies - it lends itself very well to collaborative learning. The girls don't particularly enjoy spreadsheets - but they love teaching each other formulae etc using the smartboard! They go up to the board in groups of about four and together work out the solution to a given problem - then share it with the rest of the class. I have found the girls to be much more focussed and willing to learn using the smartboard together.
